22-04-2008 BP and MP met with Luis Tapia, president AEPA (Association of Entrepreneurs 
                    and Professionals in the Almanzora Valley). Cordial discussion re. Sub Regional 
                    Plan.

21-04-2008 BP and MP meeting with Mayor of Albox to discuss Sub Regional Plan,
                    infrastructure issues etc. Meeting Cancelled again due to over-run of the mayors
                    previous meeting.

11-02-2008 Met with Paco Conchillo, Albox councillor for infrastructure to discuss ongoing water and elictricity problems. There must be some way that this can be addressed!

17-01-2008 All the committee and a large number of members went to Vera to support them in their demonstration.

17-01-2008 Committee meeting.  Mostly concerned with the demolition and how to inform the members at the Saturday meeting.

16-01-2008 President had telephone calls with various media regarding the demolition and also discussion with a solicitor, again in connection with the demolition.

15-01-2008 President and Vice-President travel to Vera to meet with people wishing to start a Vera association

15-01-2008 President and Vice President visit Ronnie Howlie (Registered Planning Officer) to get the background of the Vera demolition and the current state plans (Provincial, Regional, Sub-regional etc.)

14-01-2008 Advised that Albox mayor can meet with us on 21st. AUAN will push for earlier date.

14-01-2008 AUAN Press Officer visits location of Vera demolition and speaks to neighbours who are also under threat of demolition.

13-01-2008 AUAN press release in response to Vera demolition prepared and issued.

11-01-2008 AUAN President called on Albox Town hall to discuss progress re. electricity installation in 'illegal' houses. Spoke to Paco (council member in charge of infrastructure). No progress to report. Requested future meeting to progress and to discuss consequences of demolition.

11-01-2008 AUAN President requested meeting with Mayor of Albox asap to discuss the repercussions of the demolition. Explained that there were many nervous and frightened people out there and that the Mayor should make a statement.

11-01-2008 Meeting with Juan Perez Navarro,PNI (construction company) to get his reaction to the demolition. Spent a considerable time talking via a translator. He agreed the problem was major, and will initiate a meeting between the major commercial associations in the Almanzora Valley , and get them to produce a letter to each of the Valley Mayors, encouraging them to make a statement to the  community in their areas to calm the situation. He suggested that the AUAN should make a similar statement which we will do.

11-01-2008 Telephone meeting with Gerard Vasquez (solicitor) discussing the demolition at length.
