AUAN Days out
It's not all campaigning you know! Here are a small section of
photographs from our recent outings to Los Alpujarras and IKEA:

Have you noticed how hot it has got lately? Well it was certainly a hot night
in El Rincon Bar, Albox on 28th July, as the AUAN hosted their Summer Sizzler
evening of entertainment. Party goers danced well into the small hours, and a
great time was had by all. The success of the evening was, of course, largely down to the efforts made
by the AUAN entertainments committee. Hard work, during the 2 days leading up to
event, meant that the tables were covered in linen cloths, with party
decorations, and balloons were hanging from the ceiling. The good and plentiful
food supplied by the El Rincon Bar, and plenty of staff behind the bar, helped
make the evening such an enjoyable event. Our thanks go to the organising
committee: Vic Parker (who has since stepped down as entertainments manager) and
Ken Botterill who organized the Summer Sizzler, with the best of help from
Sandra Evans & Dawn Botterill ( table and room decorations) and of course
Anna Hackett who obtained all the raffle prizes, and sold the tickets with Dawn.
