The AUAN is open to all individuals affected by the "illegal" housing situation in the Almanzora valley. We believe that individuals acting on their own are less likely to influence the situation.  By uniting, we will have a greater capability to fight a common cause.

Only by uniting can we hope to influence the situation.

Q1. Why should I join ?

Because the more who join, the greater the pressure that can be applied, and the more likely and quickly, a favourable result will emerge. Apathy will be seen by other interested groups as a weakness, and the Expats will be ignored.

 Who has more to gain from telling you lies, them or us?

Q3. Joining fees are quite expensive, why?

We have spent almost 9 months now paying independent town planners and solicitors to tell us the truth. When was the last time you paid a solicitor, and how much an hour was he? And did you get a truthful, independent answer? Do you want to know the truth?...... that’s why.

Q4. You are rocking the boat, why don’t you just let things happen? This is Spain.

• Unity is strength.  
• The membership fee is used to obtain accurate and up to date information from solicitors and town planners for distribution to the membership.
• All membership meetings are minuted and each household recieves a copy via email. So, even if you are not in Spain you will be kept informed of events.
• The membership is kept informed via email of all activities undertaken by the AUAN to try to influence the situation.
